Sweetie's Bar-B-Q was developed by Daryl Walker aka "Sweetie".  Having a passion for cooking with love and flavor he brings a depth of mmm goodness to your soul and taste buds. Sweetie has been barbequing since his early teens and in the kitchen with his parents since a young boy preparing food for large family gatherings, church events and much more.

While BBQ is the specialty there are a variety of dishes that are just as good.  He enjoys catering for events and addicted to BBQ competitions traveling and meeting people all over the world.  He has won countless competitions including Memphis in May Ribs 4th Place World Champion. 

1st Place Rib in Alaska, 1st place Whole Hog in New York and many more.

In Jan 2022 Sweetie & his wife Trisha "The Boss" started Sweetie's Bar-B-Q Food Truck and began selling food 2 days a week while still working their full time jobs as a General Contractor & Mental Health Therapist.  Quickly realizing how much they loved feeding people and how much people loved the food they were eating, Sweetie's Bar-B-Q decided to give it a go on their first brick & mortar take out restaurant in Natchitoches.  By 2024 they were working on a second location and Sweetie's Bar-B-Q & Blues House was born offering Dine in seating, award winning bbq, sides & desserts and smooth blues music playing all day long.   We invite you to come by
